HISTORY OF INNOVATION
DEKA was created in 1991 as a spin-off of the group El.En. Today, DEKA is a leading company in the fields of design, production and marketing of lasers and light-based systems for medical use.
DEKA is the main company of El.En., a large cutting edge industrial group which has been operating in the field of optoelectronics for over thirty years. It develops laser sources and systems for a wide range of applications thanks to its own technology and multidisciplinary know-how .
Along the years, DEKA continually brought about technological development and innovation in the international sector of medical lasers, mainly introducing systems for innovative applications that were released worldwide, e.g.: SmartXide DOT for DOT Therapy and SmartXide 2 for DOT/RF Therapy (facial rejuvenation), Excilite with MEL@308nm for selective light therapy for the treatment of psoriasis and vitiligo, and SmartLipo for the Laserlipolisi® treatment.
Today, thanks to the flexibility of laser applications, DEKA offers a unique range of solutions in various fields to doctors from every sector: Medicine and Aesthetics, Surgery, V2 , LR – Vulvo-vaginal Laser Reshaping, Odontostomatology, Laser Therapy.
INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION
DEKA markets its own equipments in more than 80 countries and can count on forty other distributors on international markets, on direct subsidiaries in France, Japan and the US, as well as on an extensive network of direct agents based in national territory. The Headquarters is located in Calenzano (Florence, Italy).
The excellence characterizes the experience and supremacy DEKA acquired on the research and development front in over three decades of operation. Technological quality and innovation are behind DEKA’s unique positioning on the world market, diversifying the offer on international markets. DEKA produces laser equipment in accordance with the requirements of Directive 93/42/EC and adopts a quality control system certified by G-MED according to ISO standards ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
